Romance Rod

They all have a favorite. That one toy that outlasts all the others.

For Rod, it is his red smiley squeaker.

Other toys may come and go.

I thought maybe the toy that sounded like a thousand dying accordions would steal his heart.

But in the end he always comes back to red smiley squeaker.

A true romance!

Elusive Rod

Rod tries his best to vanish before our evening walk every. Single. Night.

He doesn't always do the best job at disappearing.

Can't blame a guy for tryin'.

Song Rod

I know I'm not the only one who sings to their dog and I'd like to share a few of my classics with you. I highly recommend changing out the words with your pet's name for a personal touch.

"Roddi, you're a fiiiiiiiiirework, come on, show 'em what you're worth."

"Why do you fill me up, Roddicup, baby just to let me down?"

"Party Rod is in the hoooooouse tonight!"

"I see a little silhouetto of a Rod."

New songs welcome.

Bonus Rod firework:

The First Rods-giving.

I think Rod would have loved the first Thanksgiving.

Not so much for the Pilgrim-wear.

But for the turkey dinner.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Fall Rod

How do I know it's Fall?

Starbucks cups are red.

Football a-plenty.

And there is a wild maniac traipsing through leaf piles.

He really loves that crunch of Fall.

We hope you are enjoying whatever Fall traditions you have!

Gymnast Rod

The good news - Rod is finally using his doxie stairs! Here is where he stood on the issue a few months ago.

The bad news - he learned they can launch you higher than ever.

Below is a routine usage.

He's looking more McKayla Maroney than I'd like.

Still, he gets 10/10!

Grandma Rod

After a visit with my mom this weekend, I came back home with some clothing items (thanks, mom!)

Rod wanted to know where I went and was quickly on the case.

His nose found the exact jacket in the closet

And sniffed out the right information.

Judging from his tail wagging, he seemed to believe grandma was nearby.

Rod loves grandma and so do I!
